Hello! I’m Shaelynn, and I’m a writer from Michigan. I mostly write escapist fiction—the kinds of stories that allow you to take a break from the world. I’m a 2023 Pushcart Prize nominee for my short story “Too Beautiful a Creature,” and my debut urban fantasy novel, Fury’s Fate, published October 2023. The Changeling was published in December 2025.

In the wake of the unexpected passing of the owner of Conquest Publishing, who put The Changeling out into the world, decisions will have to be made about the future of my work. However, that decision will come at a future time and will be announced when appropriate.
